Returns & refunds

ZEAL pottery:
Our pieces are one of a kind. All sales are final. We are not able to refund or exchange pottery products. 

Partner products: 
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your product to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at zealcreativestudios@gmail.com. Please note that returns must be sent to the following address: 10055 French Settlement Road, Kemptville, Ontario, K0G 1J0.
The buyer is responsible for purchasing the return shipping label and coordinating return shipping logistics with the carrier of your choice. You are also responsible for tracking the package if that is your preference. ZEAL Creative Studios cannot guarantee that your package will arrive. 

Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return questions at zealcreativestudios@gmail.com.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within ten (10) business days if approved. Please note: ZEAL Creative Studios is not responsible for the length of time your bank or credit card company process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at zealcreativestudios@gmail.com.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately (within 48 hours) if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue. 

Exchanges
ZEAL pieces are one of a kind and cannot be replicated. Therefore, exchanges are not made possible. 

Exceptions / non-refundable products
Certain items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your item.

Sale items or gift cards are final sales and cannot be returned or refunded. 

 

Services

As a small business that sets aside time specifically for these services and cannot afford a loss of income or the guarantee that someone else will book your spot, we appreciate your understanding of this policy. 

Pottery services

Purchases for pottery services cannot be returned and are considered final.

Wheel lessons or hand-building workshops 
Your booking can be transferred to another party 24 hours before the scheduled date and time. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange the transfer and email zealcreativestudios@gmail.com. The transfer is incomplete until the new party submits the 2023 pottery studio waiver. 

Private parties 
Your booking can be transferred to another party one week before the scheduled date and time. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange the transfer and email zealcreativestudios@gmail.com. The transfer is incomplete until the new party submits the annual pottery studio waiver. 

Wedding favours workshop
Your booking can be transferred to a new couple if their wedding is six months from your workshop's scheduled date and time. 

Photography and videography service deposits
Purchases for photography and videography service deposits cannot be returned and are considered final. They can be transferred to another party up to four weeks before the scheduled appointment date and time. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange the transfer and email zealcreativestudios@gmail.com. ZEAL Creative Studios is not responsible for arranging transfers. The transfer is not complete until the new party has signed a contract. 

Cancellations 
ZEAL reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program or activity due to low enrollment, weather warnings, illness, or an emergency. A full refund will be provided for cancelled classes, and every attempt will be made to reschedule postponed classes. Note: Please check your email's junk folder and ensure ZEAL is flagged as a safe sender.
